Locksmith Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining security systems, locks, and access control devices across various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical and electronic security systems, along with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the safety and security of our clients. The Locksmith will work on-site at multiple locations, providing expert service and technical support for a range of security solutions. Duties Install, repair, and maintain mechanical locks, electronic access control systems. Conduct system diagnostics using schematics, remote access software, and testing tools to identify issues with security systems. Perform cabling, low voltage wiring, and electrical connections in accordance with NEC standards and construction best practices. Provide field service support by responding promptly to service calls and ensuring timely resolution of technical problems. Conduct security assessments and recommend appropriate solutions for clients' needs. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed using schematics and service reports. Educate clients on system operation and remote access software functionalities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience including low voltage wiring and cabling. Experience as a service technician in security or locksmithing fields is highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems efficiently.
