This energetic role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and dealing with automotive key creating and programming. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and security hardware in residential, commercial and automotive settings. ​ Unlock houses, cars and businesses in a professional matter. Create new and duplicate key fobs and programming on the spot for all makes and models. Collaborate with clients to assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking solutions Respond promptly to emergency lockout situations and lost key situations or security breaches with professionalism and efficiency Follow safety protocols diligently during all installation and repair activities to prevent accidents Skills We do offer full training for those that are new to the industry. Proven experience in locksmithing or related trades with a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security hardware is a bonus. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for programming is a bonus as explained but we will trach everything you need to know from scratch and will be there for support as well. Strong communication skills for client interactions. Valid drivers license and SSN or work permit required with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
