Locksmith Technician (Part-Time)

Job Description:

King Locksmith is seeking a motivated and reliable Locksmith Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the locksmith and security industry. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. You will be working both in-store and occasionally assisting with mobile service calls, helping customers with key duplication, lock services, and general locksmith needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Identify, cut, and duplicate standard and high-security keys Operate light machinery and hand tools including: Bench grinder Angle grinder Dremel Power drill Key duplicator and key generator Learn and apply locksmith and mechanical methods and principles Assist customers in-store and during service calls Accurately record customer orders and fulfill requests Follow up with customers to maximize sales and service quality Use online ordering systems to manage inventory and customer needs Process transactions using POS systems (cash and credit) Operate electronic tools and systems including: SwipeSimple iPad / iPhone Futura key duplicator AID SmartPro tool Maintain a clean and organized workspace and service vehicle Follow all company policies, safety standards, and traffic laws

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and a positive, approachable attitude Ability to learn quickly and work independently Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work Basic to advanced proficiency with: Microsoft Word & Excel Internet and Google applications Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to stand, crouch, or kneel for extended periods Strong attention to detail and accuracy Must be dependable and self-motivated Preferred (Not Required): Previous locksmith experience Experience with key cutting or mechanical tools Retail or customer service experience Why Join King Locksmith?
