You'll provide expert locksmith services lockouts, key replacements, ignition repairs, and more running the work as your own business with the flexibility to choose which dispatches you accept. Your automotive knowledge and problem-solving skills will deliver swift, reliable solutions that keep drivers moving safely. Scope of Work Respond to vehicle lockouts, key replacements, and ignition repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive locking systems (electronic and mechanical) Perform lock installations, repairs, and rekeying across various makes and models Work with schematics and automotive electrical systems to resolve complex security features Handle lock/key diagnostics, including ADAS components when applicable Maintain accurate records of services, parts, and customer interactions for invoicing Ensure work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications Experience Dealership or GM vehicle background highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge and automotive electrical/diagnostic skills Comfortable reading schematics Auto estimating software experience a plus Prior service technician or locksmith experience preferred Excellent customer service and clear technical communication A great opportunity for motivated professionals ready to bring their automotive expertise to a flexible contractor role.
