This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently in the field while representing a company known for its excellence in service and operational integrity. You'll handle a variety of responsibilities—from managing grand master key systems to conducting on-site installations and repairs—making this ideal for individuals who are hands-on, solution-oriented, and take pride in their craft. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain a wide array of commercial lock systems and door hardware , including high-security key platforms. Diagnose and resolve issues with cores, locksets , and other door components in both field and shop environments . Deliver top-tier customer service for both walk-in clients and on-site engagements, offering product recommendations and tailored solutions. Duplicate keys via code or machine while upholding all relevant security and compliance protocols . Manage documentation, work orders , and records in accordance with manufacturer and company standards . Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deployment of integrated security systems . Participate in an on-call service rotation to address urgent client needs. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in locksmithing, access control, or related trades (e.g., electrical work, cabinetry). Strong proficiency in keying, pinning , and implementing master and grand master key systems . Deep knowledge of commercial door hardware and associated functionality. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and digital inventory/work management tools. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening . Physical ability to work in field settings (e.g., lifting up to 40 lbs, kneeling, climbing ladders). Preferred Experience Certification such as Certified Master Locksmith (CML) or equivalent.
