External Job Title Locksmith Overview Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job) Responsible for the installation and maintenance of locks, keys and security systems throughout Live! Casino and Hotel. Duplicates keys, replaces and re-keys locks as necessary, and ensures that all security devices are in adequate working condition. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties Install locks and closers in doors and disassemble electrical and mechanical locking devices Maintain locking systems including Zephyr Locks and Keeper Systems by repairing and replacing worn springs, tumblers and other parts Maintain records of company locks and keys Open locks by drilling if necessary Any other duties as assigned Qualifications Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) Must be able to read, write and understand English Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness, pay attention to the needs of guests and team members at all times. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred One (1) - 3 years of experience preferred Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license. Physical Requirements Must be able to push/ lift 50lbs or more Must be able to stand/ walk up to 7 ½ hours per shift Must be able to stoop, crouch, kneel and reach with hand and arms Must be able to ascend/ descend stairs for at least 4 hours per shift Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment Exposed to hot and cold temperatures consistent with changing seasons up to 7 ½ hrs per shift Working Conditions 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises. You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
