Roadside Assistant/locksmith

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Roadside Assistant/Locksmith, where you will be the first responder to vehicle emergencies and assist customers with lock-related issues on the go. This energetic role combines technical expertise with customer service, ensuring drivers receive prompt, reliable assistance when they need it most. Your hands-on skills will help keep roads safe and drivers confident, all while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Respond quickly to roadside assistance calls involving vehicle lockouts, flat tires, battery jumps, and other urgent issues. Use specialized hand tools and power tools to unlock vehicles, replace locks, or repair locking mechanisms efficiently. Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire changes and fluid top-ups when necessary. Diagnose electrical or mechanical problems using tools like ohmmeters to ensure accurate repairs. Maintain detailed records of each service call, including work performed and parts used, for accountability and reporting. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, sanitized, and ready for deployment at a moment's notice. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their safety and satisfaction. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle lock systems or automotive repairs. Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and lock picks; familiarity with power tools is a plus. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to operate electrical testing devices like ohmmeters accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to handling roadside emergencies swiftly. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers in stressful situations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
