Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a Locksmith Apprentice to join our team. The Locksmith will be responsible for learning installing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining locks and access control systems. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair locks and access control systems
  • Impression new or duplicate keys
  • Rekey locks when necessary
  • Respond to emergency lockout situations
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Provide customers with guidance on lock needs
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in lock technology
Skills:
  • Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of different types of locks and access control systems
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand and or kneel for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Can you think out of the box?
