Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace various types of locks, including mechanical and electronic locking systems Conduct routine inspections of security hardware to ensure optimal functionality Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components within security systems Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installations, repairs, and inspections Troubleshoot lock malfunctions and develop effective solutions promptly Collaborate with security personnel to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment Qualifications Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related security or maintenance role is a plus Strong knowledge of lock mechanisms, electronic access controls, and security hardware is a plus but not required Ability to operate specialized tools including ohmmeters for electrical testing Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Physical dexterity and stamina to perform installations and repairs in various environments Valid locksmith license or certification as required by local regulations (preferred) Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring is advantageous Must have clean background and driving record. Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
