Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with experience as a locksmith who is dedicated to the profession. He or she will have excellent customer service skills, be a valuable team player, help grow the company and lead by example. Preference will be given to those with an active NC Locksmith License. Responsibilities
  • Make service calls during normal business hours
  • Make occasional emergency service calls during non-business hours
  • Ability to install, repair and maintain commercial and residential locks and hardware
  • Ability to install doors a plus
  • Work with other locksmiths working for franchise
  • Assist in gathering information for projects to be quoted.
  • Works with management to ensure proper inventory is stocked
  • Knowledge of services and parts needed to complete estimates Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in the field
  • Currently holds (or working towards gaining) a valid State of North Carolina locksmith license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must use a smartphone and/or tablet device
  • Read and interpret procedures manuals
  • Effectively present information to customers
  • Clean criminal record and must pass background check
  • Clean driving record Be able to perform physical tasks required of a locksmith:
  • Push, pull and lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop
  • Ability to reach above and below shoulders
  • To climb ladder
  • Work in year-round weather conditions Ability to:
  • Install, repair and maintain access control hardware
  • Install and repair doors
  • Perform lock rekeying/perform pinning of locks
  • Perform cuts on keys by code
  • Clean, maintain, calibrate and service equipment

$39,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
