Commerical Locksmith

Job Summary:

The Commercial Locksmith is responsible for providing expert locksmith services to businesses and commercial properties. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of locks and security systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The locksmith will work closely with clients to recommend the best solutions for their security needs.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00, Overtime as needed and on call once per five weeks on the weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Repair :

Install, repair, and replace a variety of locks, keys, and security devices for commercial properties. Work with a wide range of locking systems, including deadbolts, electronic locks, key card systems, and safes. Install and service high-security locking systems, master key systems, and access control systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic lock malfunctions.

Security Consultation & Recommendations :

Assess the security needs of clients and recommend appropriate locking systems and security measures. Conduct site evaluations and security audits for clients. Advise clients on best practices for physical security, including emergency exits, master key systems, and restricted access areas.

Key Management :

Cut, duplicate, and rekey keys for commercial clients. Create master key systems and ensure proper access control for different levels of employees and management. Maintain accurate records of key assignments and inventory.

Emergency Lockout Services :

Provide emergency lockout services for businesses that are unable to access their property due to lost or damaged keys, malfunctioning locks, or other security issues. Offer 24/7 emergency support when needed. Rotating.

Customer Service :

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns. Ensure all work is done in compliance with local regulations, and industry standards. Provide high-quality customer service with professionalism and attention to detail.

Maintaining Tools & Equipment :

Ensure that all locksmithing tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order. Regularly inspect and clean tools to ensure safety and efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain detailed logs of work performed, including services rendered, parts used, and time spent on each job. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new security technologies.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
