— Locksmith Technician Residential Commercial Automotive | Full-Time | Lincoln, NE About MrQuickPick MrQuickPick is a fast-growing, locally owned locksmith company serving Lincoln, NE. We handle residential lockouts, commercial re-keying, and automotive lock and key work. We take pride in fast response times, honest pricing, and leaving every customer feeling secure. You'll be the face of our company on every call — a company service vehicle is provided so you hit the ground running. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday core schedule Occasional after-hours and emergency calls (paid by commission) Overtime opportunities available What You'll Do Respond to lockout calls (residential, commercial, and automotive) Install, repair, and re-key locks and deadbolts Duplicate and cut keys on-site Program automotive transponder keys and smart keys Use diagnostic and key programming equipment Work with modern vehicle security systems Perform broken key extractions and lock repairs Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with customers Who Thrives Here Enjoys solving problems — every call is a different puzzle Likes working independently without someone looking over your shoulder Takes genuine pride in helping people, especially when they're stressed Prefers hands-on work over sitting at a desk Wants to learn a skilled trade with real long-term earning potential Values honesty and always does right by the customer What We're Looking For No prior locksmith experience required — we will train the right person.

Ideal candidates have:

A valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong mechanical aptitude or hands-on trade experience (automotive, HVAC, electrical, etc.) Comfort learning diagnostic and key programming technology Calm, focused problem-solving under pressure Great people skills — your composure matters when customers are stressed Physical ability to kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in all weather Dependability and punctuality
