Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our facilities. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of locking mechanisms, security systems, and access control devices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise and technical skills in a fast-paced environment, providing essential security solutions for our organization. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding assets, personnel, and property while supporting ongoing security system upgrades and maintenance. Responsibilities Install, repair, and troubleshoot various lock hardware, including mechanical locks, electronic access controls, and high-security systems Conduct routine inspections of locking mechanisms, CCTV surveillance equipment, sensors, fire alarms, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to ensure optimal operation Perform system design modifications and upgrades for security systems, including cabling, low voltage wiring, and network integration Use hand tools and power tools to accurately execute lock installations or repairs according to schematics and technical specifications Assist with the installation and maintenance of surveillance cameras, sensors, CCTV systems, and remote access software for security monitoring Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure proper integration of security hardware and wiring Provide field service support by responding promptly to emergency lockouts or security system failures while maintaining excellent customer service standards Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to low voltage wiring and cabling Proficiency in computer networking concepts relevant to security systems and remote access software Hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, sensors, fire alarm systems, alarm system sales, and surveillance equipment Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and construction plans for system design or troubleshooting purposes Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards applicable to low voltage wiring installations Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, drills, as well as power tools required for lock installation or repair Knowledge of telecommunication systems related to security infrastructure including cabling and system integration Experience working as a service technician in security or locksmithing roles with a focus on customer satisfaction Understanding of security protocols involving intrusion detection systems (IDS), sensors, CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, and access control systems Join us as a Locksmith where your expertise will help create safer environments through innovative security solutions.
