Commercial Locksmith

Drew Executive Search is excited to partner with a locally-owned firm that has been in business for 60+ years and is looking to add a commercial locksmith to join their team to assist with increased work load in the Houston, TX area. My client is well established in both Texas and Louisiana and has grown to become a single point of contact for banks and credit unions as it pertains to physical security and financial equipment. From access control, cctvs, and alarms, to traditional locksmith services. The majority of this work will be on the safety deposit side of things for banks and credit unions. Responsibilities Maintain consistent contact with clients. Opens, repairs, and rebuilds safe deposit, safe and vault locks and cuts keys. Maintains, repairs, rebuilds, and installs locks, doorknobs, panic hardware, related mechanical equipment and door hardware. Repairs steel doors, hinges, undercounter steel locks. Updates and maintains records for security systems including key and combination codes (both written and computerized). Performs master system coding, cylinder combination setups, and multi-combination setups. Requirements 2+ years of proven experience as a commercial locksmith specializing in safety deposit work. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and construction plans accurately. Clean driving record My client offers an hourly pay rate in the $22-$32/hr range plus a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits and training plus additional perks. All prospective candidates will be required to be licensed and bonded and will need to pass a criminal background, driving record and credit check.

$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
