Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Locksmith Apprentice and Customer Service Associate, where you'll gain hands-on experience in locksmithing, security systems, and customer interaction. This position requires someone with the desire to make a career in the security industitruy. We provide a learning atmosphere develop technical skills in low voltage systems, mechanical lock mechanisms, and security hardware while delivering exceptional service to clients. Duties Assist experienced locksmiths in installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, safes, and security hardware across various sites. Support the setup and troubleshooting of security systems including CCTV, sensors, fire alarms, and access control systems. Engage with customers to understand their security needs and provide professional guidance on system features and upgrades. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform lock repairs, system cabling, and installation tasks. Contribute to field service operations by traveling to client locations for system installation or maintenance requests. Maintain detailed records of work performed, system configurations, and customer interactions for quality assurance. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with an interest in locksmithing or security hardware. Basic understanding of computer networking, computer hardware, and remote access software. Hands-on experience with service technician roles or construction projects is preferred. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with hand tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration. Willingness to learn about security systems such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), surveillance cameras (CCTV), sensors, alarm systems, fire alarms, and telecommunication infrastructure. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; flexibility to travel for field service assignments.
