No entry level or less than 5 years experience will be considered for this role. The right candidate will be required to have a minimum of 5 years on CNC and Manual Machines to setup and edit both. Welspun's Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and one of their kinds in technology for producing pipes for oil and gas. The Spiral mill has diversified sizes ranging from 24 to 60 inches as outer diameter (OD) and 0.23 to 1 inch as wall thickness (WT), as well as coating and double jointing capabilities, our facilities provide a one-stop solution to valued oil and gas customers in and around the United States. The HFW mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inch to 20" and wall thickness from 0.158" to 0.551" in. Job Summary:

• Set-up and operate manual machine tools to perform milling, turning, threading, drilling, sawing and surface grinding operations. CNC machining experience is a plus.
• Perform daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, positioning work area and setting parameters.
• Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, and measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform inspection of parts utilizing gauges / measuring devices and reviews blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.
• Complete various types of paperwork related to production reporting.
• Perform the required duties in accordance with safety guidelines
• Clean equipment and work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or G.E.D

• 5+ years of previous machine shop experience preferred
• Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required
• Basic blueprint understanding required
• Understanding of G-Code programming preferred
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
