Job Description

Advanced Materials Technologies, LLC (AMT) is a team that values craftsmanship, precision, and pride in work. We seek a seasoned professional possessing both CNC and manual machining expertise. The successful candidate will provide documented CNC and manual grinding experience, including set-up and run talent, expertise, and knowledge to support our aerospace turbine engine component repair and overhaul department. What AMT requires of CNC and Manual Machining (Grinding)
Professionals:
Demonstrates a mastery of CNC/Manual Machining, specifically ID/OD grinding Proficiency with inspection equipment, such as: Indicating Micrometers, Bore Gages, Depth Gages, Dial Indicators, and other measuring devices Selects appropriate tool/speed/feed to produce desired result/extend tool life Reads/interprets blueprints/technical drawings/work instructions including assemblies, dimensions, tolerances, symbols, notes, abbreviations, and GD&T Produces correct high-tolerance products and minimizes waste/rework/scrap Performs ID/OD and Surface grinding operations for critical components Collaborates closely with engineering/inspection to meet exacting tolerances Aerospace turbine engine component repair/overhaul experience preferred Strictly adheres to safety and quality requirements at all times Is a self-motivated individual that consistently follows direction/supervision Collaborates and works cohesively in team environments Lifts and/or moves items weighing 35 Lbs. Possesses Normal/correctable vision and depth perception Stands, walks, kneels, bends, or squats as required Adheres to company policies/procedures per the company handbook Candidates are required to supply their own tools Must pass a
