Full Job Description OD/ID Grinding Machinist Job Description:

Set up and operate

CNC OD/ID

Grinding machines. Can maintain and optimize existing program while following companies' quality system of changes and record keeping. Measuring parts and maintaining quality. The hourly rate depends on experience and for the right candidate, relocation assistance is available for this position depending on having the right experience.

Task:

▪ Responsible to Setup and operate

CNC OD/ID

Grinding machines ▪ Knowledge to read blue prints ▪ Provide technical assistance with coworker's ▪ Knowledge to use measurement equipment ▪ Knowledge in Grinding wheels ▪ Knowledge in G and M code ▪ Knowledgeable in GD&T ▪ Make first articles ▪ Able to make adjustment for offset in the CNC machine ▪ Follow work instructions in the machine shop with IP, router, drawings and program security as described by the company guidelines ▪ Maintain machine shop cleanliness with routine schedule, cleaning the inside and outside of the machine and work areas between jobs ▪ Use proper EPP, safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, respiration covers per OSHA standards. ▪ Participate with team during customer audits as required. ▪ Participate in the development of new equipment for new products.

Skills:

▪ Background in Grinding ▪ Able to read and understand customer schematics and requirements. ▪Knowledgeable in

GD&T Working Hours/ Shifts:

First Shift

• 8:00 am
• 4:30 pm. Second Shift
• 3:00 pm
