SEVERAL CNC
Swiss Lathe Machinists for full time, contract to hire (temp to perm) opportunities in Mesa, AZ.. Aerospace experience is a PLUS! 12 Hour Weekend Shift 4th Shift
  • Friday
  • Sunday 6:00 PM
  • 6:30 AM
  • Work 36 Hours get paid or 40 Hours
  • Other Shifts are available but 4th Shift is the primary need.
  • What experience do you need for this role? Must have at least 3-5 Years CNC Machining Experience Expertise in the set
  • up and operation of CNC Machine with Fanuc Controls.
Must be familiar with and capable of using Statistical Process Control. Must read precision measuring instruments such as comparators, indicator, calipers and micrometers. Must demonstrate and be capable of applying mathematical operations using fractions, decimals, trigonometry and geometry as required by machining operations. Generally equivalent to journeyman trade school graduate. What will you get to do? 1. Set up Tsugami Machine making required adjustments to tooling, collets, etc. Troubleshoots and resolves various problems related to the set-up and operation of tooling, work holding etc. of an auto loading CNC machine tool. 2. Read and interpret drawings, programs, and other documentation to visualize machining required and sequence of operations. 3. Makes input to CNC consistent with set up procedure. Performs dry run to verify setup prior to production run. Recognizes and reports errors on programming and operations. Collaborates with appropriate personnel in correcting errors. 4. Provides necessary counts, processes documentation correctly, and maintains daily production logs or production worksheets. 5. Utilizes SPC techniques and methods to ensure workflow efficiency.
Pay Rate:
Up to $32/hr+ depending on experience
