Direct Hire Opportunity Stable First Shift Schedule Collaborative Team Environment Opportunity for Growth and Skill Development Competitive Compensation and Benefits Position Overview Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Phoenix. This is a direct hire opportunity for a machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC milling machines while producing high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quality-focused, and experienced in troubleshooting machining processes, reading blueprints, and working with close tolerances. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where continuous improvement, teamwork, and craftsmanship are highly valued. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components Perform tooling changes, offset adjustments, and machine setup verification Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T callouts Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to maintain production efficiency and quality Support production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment Qualifications 3+ years of CNC mill setup and operation experience preferred Experience producing precision machined components in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Working knowledge of GD&T and inspection techniques Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges Desired Skills CNC milling setup experience Understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds Experience working to tight tolerances Ability to identify and resolve machining issues with minimal supervision Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to support team objectives COM055 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
