Job Description
Zircon Precision Products, LLC is currently seeking applicants for a 1st shift CNC Mill Machinist position. Working hours are 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. This position will set up and operate CNC mills to make aerospace parts to blueprint tolerances and dimensions. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to grow professionally within a growing company. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Responsibilities Set up, run, and maintain CNC Mill machine(s). Assist in planning sequence of operations, determine cutting tools to be used, method of holding, and machine speeds and feeds. Perform program edits as needed. Check to detail drawing or sketches using precision measuring devices/instruments and computing angular and linear dimensions as required. Provide proactive feedback. Work from drawings, specifications, set-up interactions and data to check parts for conformity to specifications. De-burr of all machine parts as required. Work with inspection department as required in the performance of responsibilities. Perform daily maintenance and maintain and clean work area. Qualifications 5+ years of directly related machining experience. Understanding of CNC machine function and G-Code language. Ability to interpret B/P's, Mfg. work instructions, M.O.T's, GD&T etc. Interest in learning programming a big plus. Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, tool designs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform basic math calculations in the course of assigned job. Familiarity with cutting tools and their nomenclature. Quality first mind set. Ability to interact with a diversity of people and diverse levels of personnel and work well in a team.
