Machinist

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring multiple Machinists in Tempe, AZ for both full-time and part-time weekend positions.

• As a Machinist , you will: Perform machine set-ups on various CNC equipment.

Operate and oversee multiple machines throughout the shift in a fast?paced, multitasking environment. Work primarily on large mill and lathe projects , typically involving 50 parts or fewer per job. Utilize and maintain machines such as Bridgeport , DMG MORI , and 3-Axis Mills . Support operations involving horizontal mills and lathes . Manage palletized machine systems, including restocking pallets as needed. Ensure high?quality output and adherence to production standards. This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

• 3:30pm to 12am Schedule 2
• Friday
• Sunday
• 5am to 5:30pm The ideal candidate will have: Previous CNC machine setup experience.

Experience with horizontal mills , lathes , and large format machining. Familiarity with CMM programming or PC-DMIS (highly beneficial). Strong multitasking ability and comfort overseeing multiple machines. We will also consider candidates with no prior experience who are currently enrolled in a machining or technical program.

Payrate :

$24.00

• $37.00 per hour DOE
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
