In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing operations. We are looking for energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about craftsmanship and technical precision. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes such as Fanuc-controlled equipment to produce complex parts with precision. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and modify existing programs to optimize production. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. Set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling adjustments to ensure optimal machining conditions; perform routine maintenance on machinery.
Complete thorough quality production documents:
including but not limited to, First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others, as required. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines or CNC lathes. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes including plastics and assembly techniques. Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T standards for precise part fabrication. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
