50+ hours/week (plenty of overtime available) Overview We are seeking a Traveling CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity for experienced machinists looking to maximize earnings with consistent overtime and a strong daily per diem . If you're skilled in CNC lathe setup, enjoy hands-on problem solving, and want to work in a clean, organized shop environment—this role offers both stability and earning potential. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling Select tooling, establish offsets, and load programs across various machines Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements Operate Fanuc and Siemens controls Make program edits to improve quality and efficiency Run production parts and monitor machine performance Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot issues such as tool wear and dimensional discrepancies Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation What We're Looking For Strong CNC lathe setup experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls Solid understanding of machining processes and quality standards Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a production environment Why This Opportunity Stands Out ✅ $160 Daily Per Diem
