00/hour 🌙 $2 Shift Differential for 2nd Shift Join a growing precision aerospace manufacturing team seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to set up and operate advanced CNC equipment in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. 🔧 What You'll Do Set up and operate 4-5 axis CNC Mill machines to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work orders Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust tooling Maintain quality, safety, and production documentation ✅ What You Bring Required 2+ years of 4-5 axis CNC Mill machining experience (aerospace preferred) Experience with precision inspection equipment Strong understanding of GD&T and tooling fundamentals Knowledge of shop safety practices Preferred Experience with Mazak machine, Fadal, Toyoda Familiarity with CNC G-code Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills 🎯 Benefits & Perks Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance starting the first day of the month following hire 15 days PTO (accrual begins day one) + 12 paid holidays 401(k) with company match Education reimbursement after 90 days

Training Schedule:

All 2nd Shift new hires will start on 1st shift for training (5:30 AM

This role partners directly with machinists and engineering to ensure machined components meet exacting quality and compliance standards. 🔎 Position Overview Perform mechanical inspection of semi-finished and finished machined parts to verify compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer/military specifications. Identify workmanship issues, prevent process defects, and support continuous quality improvement. 🛠 Key Responsibilities Conduct mechanical inspection & First Article Inspection (FAI) Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T Inspect parts using surface plates, calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, Micro-Hite, precision measuring tools Review drawings, ECNs, and military/customer standards for acceptance or rework Verify manufacturing build/test completion Enter inspection data into ERP systems Communicate defects and systemic trends to Quality Engineering 🎯 Required Qualifications 3+ years as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment Strong experience in mechanical inspection & FAI Working knowledge of GD&T Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications High School Diploma or equivalent ⭐ Preferred Experience with
