Job Description

We are an ISO/AS9100-certified precision machine shop specializing in complex plastic and metal components for industries including aerospace, semiconductor, and medical manufacturing. With advanced 5-axis machining capabilities, automated quality control systems, and a strong commitment to precision and continuous improvement, our team takes pride in delivering high-quality machined parts in a fast-paced production environment. We are currently seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist with setup and operating experience to join our team. This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in precision work, performs well under pressure, and understands the demands of a high-performance manufacturing environment. Our shop operates with tight deadlines, high customer expectations, and a strong focus on quality, urgency, and accountability. Candidates should be comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, and sometimes high-stress environment where adaptability, efficiency, and attention to detail are critical. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes efficiently and accurately Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met Deburr parts and complete finishing work as needed Install hardware and perform minor shop/machine maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations Preferred Experience CNC Mill experience 5-Axis machining experience Haas control experience Plastics machining experience Requirements Proven experience operating CNC lathes with a strong understanding of CNC programming principles and CAM software Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills Excellent attention to detail and quality mindset Ability to stay focused and productive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and maintain composure under pressure Positive attitude and ability to work well with coworkers Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Strong verbal communication skills Strong math skills including basic calculations necessary for machining tolerances and measurements Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
