About us We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywomen Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team!
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including CNC lathes, mills, grinders, waterjet and conventional machines Interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD/CAM programs to ensure precise part creation Set up, program, and operate CNC machines Perform complex machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, and grinding Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish using precision measuring instruments Maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Perform basic machine maintenance and repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work effectively as part of a team
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Machinist or equivalent experience Proven ability to operate and maintain a variety of machine tools Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques Excellent reading comprehension and blueprint interpretation skills Experienced in CNC programming (G code/M Code) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality Strong problem-solving skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
