PBF - CNC Machinist - 2nd shift

Volt is immediately hiring for a 2nd shift Machinist for a company located in Gardena, CA. As a CNC Machinist you will: Set up CNC machines including calibration, cleaning, tooling, and fixture installation Control and adjust machine settings (speed, feed, offsets) Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery. Setting up manufacturing equipment Overseeing training of new or Junior Machine Operators Using machine equipment to complete tasks Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) ... Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools. Test operation of machines periodically. Fix issues that might occur during the shift.

The ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma/GED. Combination of additional education and experience. Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics. Attention to detail. Ability to work and communicate well with others. Proficiency with hand tools. This is a Full-Time, contract opportunity

• Friday, overtime on Saturday (2nd Shift 2pm-10:30pm) Pay Rate
• $23.00
• 40.00 per hour
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
