CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines. Read blueprints and perform tooling and setup. Set-up, edit, and run all facets of work assigned. Inspect and measure parts to maintain in-process control charts. Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust machine controls as needed. Ensure company procedures and best machine practices are followed at all times. Perform machine maintenance as required. Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, routers, and other documentation as needed. Respond to common inquiries and seek clarification when necessary. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Demonstrate punctuality and a strong work ethic. Essential Skills Proficiency in setting up machines and reading blueprints. Experience in the inspection of parts using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools. 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining, preferably with

HAAS, AKIRA

SEIKI, and DOSSAN. Ability to operate hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using shop tools such as depth gauges, indicators, etc. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Work Environment The position is based in a machine shop employing 50 people. The environment is collaborative and safety-conscious, providing opportunities to work with advanced CNC technology. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morgan Hill, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
