Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital part of producing precision-engineered components for diverse industries. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to craft high-quality parts with accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure our production processes run smoothly, meeting strict quality standards while maintaining safety and productivity. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls, to produce complex parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Program CNC equipment utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, ensuring optimal tool paths and machining parameters. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to verify dimensions and tolerances. Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure operational efficiency and troubleshoot issues promptly. Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, tooling adjustments, or minor repairs as needed. Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspection reports, and quality control records in compliance with manufacturing standards. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining operations including CNC milling and CNC lathe work. Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM software to develop efficient machining routines. Ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T principles accurately. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes for precision component fabrication. Experience with SolidWorks or CAD software for part design or modification purposes. Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus for versatile manufacturing applications. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality assurance. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste. Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling raw materials or finished products.
