We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team and support high-volume and prototype production on Swiss-style CNC lathes. Position Summary The CNC Swiss Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components that meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience with tight-tolerance machining, tooling optimization, blueprint reading, and in-process inspection. Responsibilities Setup and operate CNC Swiss machines including Star and Tsugami equipment Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process sheets Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments Edit programs at the machine using Fanuc-style controls Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, comparators, and other precision measuring equipment Maintain tight tolerances and ensure part quality throughout production runs Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with programmers and quality personnel to optimize production Qualifications 3+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience preferred Experience with Star, Tsugami, or similar Swiss machines Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading Ability to hold tight tolerances (±.0002 or better) Familiarity with bar feeders, live tooling, and guide bushing setups Experience with medical, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Skills Experience with Mastercam Multi-axis Swiss programming experience Knowledge of carbide tooling and feeds/speeds optimization First article and in-process inspection experience Benefits Medical and Dental Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off & Holidays Training opportunities Overtime available Climate-controlled facility Advancement opportunities Apply Today If you are a skilled Swiss machinist looking for a stable company with growth opportunities and modern equipment, we want to hear from you.
