Picture your shift—day, swing, or weekend—starting with a setup on a vertical, horizontal, or turning center. You verify your work instructions and prints, load tools and fixtures, dial in offsets, and make smart feed/speed tweaks. You measure, adjust, and communicate what you see. As parts run, you monitor tool wear, tackle defects, and keep the program owner and your supervisor in the loop. Along the way, you share tips with less experienced teammates. Available shifts

4x10 Mon-Thu, 4:30am-3:10pm
Swing:
4x10 Mon-Thu, 3:00pm-1:40am
Weekend:
3x12 Fri-Sun, 6:00am-6:30pm What you'll do Operate and set up CNC mills, lathes, and production machines Set up machining jobs on vertical, horizontal, and turning centers Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related tools Follow work instructions, prints, and quality standards Make basic adjustments; change feeds, speeds, and perform minor edits as needed Communicate issues and improvement ideas to the supervisor/programmer Report any edits or changes to the programmer or supervisor Troubleshoot machining defects to restore process capability Observe and evaluate tool wear, replacing tools proactively Provide training guidance to lower-skilled machinists Requirements Hands-on experience in CNC operation, manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or shop work Measuring tool experience—or willingness to learn (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Comfort working with tools, parts, and production equipment Ability to follow work instructions, prints, and quality standards Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take coaching Available to work day, swing, or weekend shifts Preferred Independent CNC setup experience 2+ years of CNC experience G-code edits and basic G-code programming GD&T literacy Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, and/or Haas controls Multi-axis experience Fixture building and setup Advanced troubleshooting What matters most Strong attendance, a great attitude, coachability, mechanical aptitude, comfort working with your hands, a basic quality mindset, and a willingness to grow into deeper machining responsibilities.
