Apply now to be considered for this excellent career opportunity! •Highlights nearly unlimited OT for 1.5x earnings Wide open with permanent job openings on 1st and 2nd shift Interesting, high-mix, high-precision manufacturing of aerospace, defense, medical, and semiconductor components Summary Seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setup/Operator to support precision machining operations on complex 5-axis CNC milling equipment. Responsible for machine setup, operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintaining quality standards for precision components. Opportunity to work with advanced multi-axis machining technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate 3 to 5-axis CNC milling machines and/or mutli-axis lathes to produce precision components. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications. Install and secure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations. Load, verify, and adjust CNC programs and machine offsets as needed. Optimize machine parameters and cutting conditions for various materials. Perform first article and in-process inspections using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. Monitor production runs and make adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Complete setup documentation, inspection records, and production logs. Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, chatter, and dimensional deviations. Collaborate with engineering and programming teams to improve machining processes and efficiency. Assist with training and supporting other machine operators as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of CNC milling or turning experience. Strong understanding of multi-axis machining principles and workholding methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply GD&T concepts. Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment. Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or similar preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a machining environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
