Requirements:

1 year of conventional lathe experience. Knowledge and experience in setting up and running conventional lathe machines . Knowledge of performing shop mathematics associated with machining. Knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and precision instruments (i.e., micrometer, calipers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications. Possesses good organizational skills and attention to detail. Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Job Duties:

Performs proper setup and running of the conventional lathe machine, ensuring the use of tooling associated with the machine. Will read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure correct specified dimensions and tolerances. Performs turning and threading material. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
