- Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this role, you will operate and set up CNC lathe machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Your expertise in machining, programming, and measurement will ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining efficient production workflows. Responsibilities Operate, set up, and program CNC lathe machines using Fanuc controls to produce c parts with precision. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications to ensure accurate machining. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges to verify part dimensions. Select appropriate tooling and tooling setups for various jobs Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Maintain detailed documentation of machining operations, inspection reports, and quality control records. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times when handling power tools, welding equipment, hand tools, and other machinery. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines with a strong understanding of CNC programming languages such as G-code. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling selection, and maintenance procedures. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges. Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and machining parameters. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
