Job Description
At Gerlinger Steel & Supply, we're more than just a steel company — we're a family. With facilities in Redding and Woodland, CA, we're proud to offer a stable, long-term home for the people who choose to join our team. Our Woodland shop runs Monday through Friday, and this full-time shift position offers 40+ hour weeks. You'll be working with saws, shears, press brakes, and plate rolls to prefabricate components for a wide range of jobs — including quality checking and packaging parts. We'd love to hear from you if you bring: A collaborative spirit — you enjoy sharing knowledge and helping teammates succeed Solid basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers Ability to operate forklifts and overhead lifting equipment A genuine commitment to safety — for yourself, your team, and your workspace Strong attendance and punctuality Fluency in written and spoken English; bilingual candidates are especially welcome A high school diploma or equivalent technical training We take care of our people.
