This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machining equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Monday-Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
Pay:
$20-25/hour Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment, including mills, lathes, drills, and related machinery. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications. Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Perform machine adjustments and tool changes to ensure quality and efficiency. Troubleshoot equipment and identify opportunities for process improvements. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Assist with fabrication and sheet metal production processes as needed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet customer requirements and production deadlines. Qualifications 2+ years experience machinist experience in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment 3-5+ years experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and tools. Comfortable working in a production and shop environment with varying noise levels. #
