CNC Mill Machinist

Zimmerman Metals, Inc. is looking for a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. Job Responsibilities Operate CNC Mill Maintain machine by conducting PM, replacing fluids, and adjusting machine for specific operations Receive and interpret prints for a variety of parts Set up pieces for machining Create programs to machine features using Macros, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or the Fanuc control to create code Assess runtimes of programs and find inefficiencies Prepare finished parts for shipment Required Skills and Attributes Must be able to read and properly interpret blueprints Ability to read, write and adjust G-Code on Fanuc Must have experience working with materials such as low carbon steel, stainless, high carbon, aluminum, etc. Must be proficient at set ups for a variety of parts and weldments Must have own tools to perform work duties

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials. Frequently required to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

The position operates in a manufacturing or warehouse setting with exposure to outdoor weather conditions. May involve exposure to dust, dirt, and noise from machinery.
