As a CNC VTL Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting and operating a variety of large format machines per op-sheets and blueprints while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment. Machined parts may have multiple shapes with steps, profiles, and diameters. Most definition carries a tolerance of up to ±.001". This position is excellent for anyone who has knowledge of mechanical principles and a positive team-oriented attitude. Duties Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, applying GD&T principles for accurate machining. Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Safely operate forklifts for material handling as required. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses. Familiarity with tooling setups and maintenance procedures. Understanding of GD&T principles and their application in machining. Strong basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Experience with package handling is a plus. Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
