This role is critical to ensuring the precision and quality of our high-performance bearing components.

Key Responsibilities Independently set up, adjust, and operate OD and ID grinding equipment Select and apply appropriate grinding wheels based on material type, tolerance, and finish requirements Perform wheel dressing and adjustments to maintain precision and surface integrity Execute form grinding and complex setups on aerospace components Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements to meet tight tolerances and surface finish specs Troubleshoot issues related to surface finish, chatter, and wheel performance Select workholding methods, speeds, feeds, and machine parameters Partner cross-functionally to meet quality and delivery targets Required Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on grinding experience (OD, ID, or centerless) in a precision manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of grinding wheel selection, composition, and dressing techniques Ability to perform independent grind setups Experience working to tight tolerances in aerospace or high-precision environments Solid understanding of shop math and GD&T Preferred Experience with form grinding or honing Aerospace or bearing manufacturing background Foundational Machinist Competencies (All Levels)
