Job Description

Job Summary The Machine Operator/Machinist will assist in the set-up, operating and maintaining machinery to produce quality parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Join our team as a Machine Operator/Machinist if you're eager to develop your skills in a fast-paced yet small team environment. Willing to consider full or part-time candidates. Duties Assist with the the set-up and operating of manual and CNC machines. Follow work instructions Load and unload material into machines Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications and report any issues Measure and inspect finished products using tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges Preform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Record production data and report any defects or issues Other general shop duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Experience as a machine operator or machinist is helpful Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus Ability to read blueprints and and technical documents Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions Ability to stand for extended periods Lift and Move materials Willingness to learn new skills Must be 18 years of age or older.
