Job Description:
As a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate various operate various CNC turning centers to produce high-precision aerospace and commercial components, often working multiple machines simultaneously. A CNC Machinist will follow detailed, pre-developed methods for machining complex parts, utilizing GD&T for quality inspections and addressing tool wear.
Job Requirements:
  • Proficiency with set up and operation of various 2 axis CNC machining centers (Okuma, Hwacheon, YCM).
  • Understand blueprint details such as true position, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Know which depth gauges, calipers, indicators and other measuring devices are needed for use after each operation.
  • Be able to understand and interpret a set up sheet. Know and understand which tools will need to be used for an operation through the set-up sheet.
  • Edit programs, and understand G-codes
  • Programming experience beneficial but not required
  • Work to very close tolerances (i.e. +
  • .0005 in.)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working in an
AS9100/ISO9001
environment
  • Able to work 50+ hours /week, plus Saturdays when necessary
  • Be able to pass a comprehensive interview.
Experience required:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the aerospace industry
