The rapid growth of our company in this area has created the demand for a Senior Grinder with experience in ID and OD grinding. The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities, Tool & Die skills and knowledge, and the ability to communicate to all levels in our organization. Essential Duties
- Perform OD and ID grinding on machine parts.
- Maintain manual grinding equipment for optima! Performance.
- Ensure quality control adheres to industry, company, and customer standards.
- Work independently under the direction of the Shop Foreman.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling to meet production needs.
- Set up and maintain the grinding station.
- Safety and cleanliness are essential responsibilities.
- Follow directions and standard processes.
- Record results. Essential Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proactively solves issues and works independently. Display a high level of initiative and effort.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
- In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
- Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation and results driven.
