Job Title:
CNC Milling Machinist Job Description Join our team as a CNC Milling Machinist, where you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the manufacturing process aligns with specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis vertical CNC milling machines. Utilize Fanuc controls effectively. Write and edit basic CNC programs using G-code programming. Program and operate positional indexers. Read and interpret blueprints while applying knowledge of GD&T. Use various measuring instruments and gauges to verify production and first piece dimensions. Ensure accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in all tasks. Collaborate effectively within a team-based environment. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist. Proficiency in setting up and running CNC milling machines. Familiarity with Fanuc controls and G-code programming. Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of GD&T. Competence in using precision measuring instruments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a similar role within the Aerospace, Defense, or Medical industries. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a full-time, first shift position in a mid-sized CNC manufacturing company. The work environment is dynamic and focused on maintaining high standards of manufacturing excellence. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
