Facility with State-of-the-Art Equipment Full-time | 8-Hour Shifts | Monday - Friday | Overtime Available Manual Machinist Experience Required Join Our Expert Team at A & H Metals, Inc.! A & H Metals, Inc. is hiring now for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our expert team in Newark, DE. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist with a background in reverse engineering, prototyping, and R&D machining. Experience with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK controls is a major plus. Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain manual machining equipment with precision and efficiency Work with Southwestern Industries mills and lathes using ProtoTRAK M2 and SMX controls Review blueprints, samples, and instructions to ensure accuracy Support R&D and prototype machining projects Assist with sheet metal and miscellaneous shop needs as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications/Requirements:
Manual machining experience required (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, some exotics) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings ProtoTRAK experience preferred; Southwestern mills/lathes experience a plus Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8-hour shifts Knowledge of steels, alloys, and NDE processes preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
