CNC Lathe Machinist 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

FK Instrument is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for our 2nd shift operation. This role is responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards. This role focuses on running jobs, monitoring quality, and keeping machines producing parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC lathe machines Load and unload parts Monitor cycle times and machine performance Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Verify parts meet print specifications Make basic offset adjustments as needed Identify and report machine or quality issues Complete basic production paperwork or system entries Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

3+ years of CNC lathe machining experience Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions Experience using micrometers and calipers Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and works independently
