• 3:00 PM About the Role We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our growing machine shop in Fort Myers.

In this hands-on role, you'll work with manual lathe machines to produce high-quality, precision parts. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their trade, works independently, and thrives in a production-focused shop environment. What You'll Do Set up and operate manual lathe machines to meet print and tolerance requirements Perform machining operations including turning, boring, facing, and threading Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments as needed Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with basic repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety, quality, and production standards Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet production goals What We're Looking For Proven experience as a manual machinist in a shop environment setting up and running manual lathe machines Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Solid math skills and understanding of machining tolerances Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Benefits $25

) Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with repairs as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and quality standards Work closely with shop supervisors and team members to meet production goals Requirements Proven experience as a manual machinist in a machine shop environment Strong experience setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining manual lathe machines Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic math skills and understanding of machining tolerances Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight Reliable attendance and punctuality Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $25
