In this role, you will operate and set up various Conventional Manually Operated Machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. Your expertise in machining, blueprint reading, and technical programming will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. Duties Operate Conventional Manually Operated Lathes, Milling Machines, Drill Presses and Grinders. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions and quality standards Set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling offsets for machining operations while adhering to safety protocols Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime Assist in assembly processes when necessary, utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools Requirements Proven experience in Manually Operated Machinist Equipment. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawing. Ability to use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs for quality assurance Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling setup, machine calibration, and maintenance procedures Capable of working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and other manufacturing tools safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a fast-paced production environment Join our team as an Inside Machinist where your technical skills will directly impact the quality of our products.
