Machinist Apply in person Monday -Friday 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Job Description:

Working Machinist Manufacture and make repairs per instruction and/or drawings Operate all machine shop equipment Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling, and lathe work, using various engine lathes (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring mills). Operate overhead cranes and perform rigging Perform incoming and outgoing inspections Properly fill out all paperwork

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience operating milling machines, lathes, boring mills, and grinders Must have ability to work with extremely close tolerances (i.e. .0005" to .001") and meet allotted time frames Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be willing to work overtime Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Prior electric motor experience or in a machine shop is beneficial and prior work experience, and/or certification, doing mig and tig welding a plus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full-time position. Monday through Friday Overtime as needed Possibility of on call rotation for emergency after hours Salary Negotiable based on experience
