If you love turning raw bar into flawless components, this role is your stage. As a CNC Swiss specialist at Tecomet, you'll drive precision on our Swiss 2nd shift—earning a shift differential—while contributing to a culture built on continuous improvement, customer-driven innovation, and winning as one team. Impact you'll make From first-article to final pack-out, you'll control quality at the spindle. You'll interpret drawings, validate dimensions, and keep documentation airtight—all while maintaining safety and uptime. Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines to meet tight tolerances and engineering specs. Perform advanced machining across multiple metals with close-tolerance features. Adjust offsets and replace dull tooling to stabilize processes. Use measuring equipment to verify parts; apply OOQ principles to ensure quality. Complete daily checks, follow PMs, and keep machines and work areas in peak condition. Execute hand-finishing operations as needed. Adhere to GMP/GDP; complete job routers/cards accurately and on time. Champion safety; report and mitigate SH&E risks. Meet productivity goals; log all work in the tracking system promptly. Drive and support Continuous Improvement; escalate issues and help resolve them. Maintain 5S discipline; support special assignments as needed. Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods; maintain traceable inspection records per procedure. What sets you up for success High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
Preferred:
Associate's/certificate in Tooling & Machining or completion of a machinist apprenticeship.

Production shop experience;
GCSE/NVQ
Math and English desirable (UK only). Capable of setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment; comfortable running multiple machines. Solid math and measurement abilities; accurate record-keeping. Organized, able to prioritize, and deliver under tight timelines. Instruction-focused with a history of on-time, high-quality runs. Safety-focused, detail-driven, positive, and collaborative. Strong written/verbal communication and computer literacy; knows when to escalate. Physical & travel requirements Standing and walking for significant portions of the shift; frequent hand use and reaching; ability to talk/hear clearly. Periodic sitting and climbing/balancing; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus.
